More detailed information about the snowpack: 

SH layer observed 2cm thick and 50cm deep with CTM results.  Directly next to the column, the SH layer was not observed and hard wind crust was in its place.  Upper 40cm was soft snow with a 5cm 1f slab at the bottom of this 40cm in places
