More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Lots of evidence of loose wet slides. Rollerballs, snow peeling off rock cliffs, tree bombs causing slides, and the glide cracks open on Tiger Peak. Our lower snowpit at 5500' had a CT26 Q1 down 90cm on the buried surface hoar, PST 50/100 End on the same layer.

It was still barely below freezing at 6300', but back down at 5500 it was defintely above freezing.  Pack your sunscreen.
